| 2nd JCI Spring Conference on China Feed Raw Materials
Market |
| March 23-24, 2007 Friday-Saturday Guangzhou, PRC
|
| Introduction |
| Year 2007 will be a year full of expectations to all of us, as it is the
first year when Chinese grain market is fully opened after accessing to
WTO, the year when China continues to give priority to rural development
under RMB appreciation, and the year when world agricultural products and
by-products prices move notably up. |
| In year 2006, great risks have faced both Chinese livestock and feed industry,
which has actually been predicted by China JCI early in September 2005 in
its first autumn conference on China grains, oils and feed market. In the
coming year of 2007, what change will take place in China's macro-control
policy, global trading trend, world grain production, agricultural weather
as well as grain and by-products price movement? How will the prices of
major feed raw materials (corn, soymeal and fishmeal, etc.) fluctuate? |
| The key to these knotty questions lies in a deep understanding of the
main factors influencing feed raw material market both home and abroad.
In order to better our analysis and judgment, China JCI, together with renowned
international associations and influential local enterprises, has invited
a group of experts in this field to deliver to us their opinions and judgments.
Such discussion would help participants better seize the business opportunities
and hedge risks and thus embody our mission, namely "to go ahead of the
market and create values for our customers". |
