5th JCI Spring Conference on Chinese Feed Raw Materials Market
March 19-20, 2010, Friday-Saturday, Xiamen, Fujian Province, PRC
Introduction
On the past 5th JCI Autumn Conference held in last September in Beijing, we are honored to have attracted about 400 participants in China's grains, oils, feed and farming industry, who have deeply welcomed our discussion topics. Based on the experience of our past nine semi-annual conferences, JCI is to hold our 5th JCI Spring Conference on Chinese Feed Raw Materials Market on March 19-20, Friday-Saturday, 2010, in South China's Xiamen, Fujian Province, together with our long-standing partners of US Grains Council (USGC), American Soybean Association-International Marketing (ASA-IM), and International Fishmeal and Fish oil Organization (IFFO). This conference will also provide simultaneous interpretation by experienced interpreters.
In the past unusual year 2009, China's contribution to world economy has reached about 80% and China has gained a very position in further development. As is known to all, the mode of economy development in the world has already transformed from political economics, featured by war in the past, to resource economics, featured by fictitious capital, with world economy having already undergone the changes from brutal plundering ¡ú petroleum war ¡ú grain war ¡ú currency war ¡ú environment war. By far, almost everything including the air, forest and new technology in environment protection seems tradable internationally. Under such circumstance, there are great opportunities as well as potential risks embedded with the current grains, oils, feed and farming industry. A few international research institutions have even put forward that Asia should cut down paddy rice planting due to its high methane emission, China should lower pig farming as pigs produce more pollution than cows and sheep and countries in the world conduct trade based on the level of carbon dioxide emission by implementing carbon tax, etc.
In light of China's overall strategy for economy development and the actual implementation, agriculture and animal husbandry will still be the main source of income growth to Chinese farmers, with the list of supportive policies in agriculture and animal husbandry likely to be continued for a long period of time. The Chinese government will follow its own track of economy development regardless of the outside pressure with an aim to ensure the long-term stable development of Chinese economy. Under that background, we'd like to discuss with you about the supply/demand situation of main feed raw materials, their price trend as well as the government policy direction so as to discover business opportunities and minimize risks.
We believe that through the discussion in our upcoming conference, you can get much help in analyzing the trend in 2010 China's feed raw materials market, government direction as well as market opportunities. We also believe, through our efforts and your good utilization of information service, you can benefit more in this year 2010. We look forward to seeing you in the coastal city of Xiamen, Fujian Province.
More sponsorship enlisting is also under way.
