| 6th JCI Autumn Conference on Chinese Feed Raw
Materials Market |
| September 3-4, 2010, Friday-Saturday, Tianjin,
PRC |
| Introduction |
| On the past 5th JCI Spring Conference held in this March in Xiamen, we
are honored to have attracted over 600 participants in China's grains, oils,
feed and farming industry, who have deeply welcomed our discussion topics.
Based on the experience of our past ten semi-annual conferences, JCI is
to hold our 6th JCI Autumn Conference on Chinese
Feed Raw Materials Market on September 3-4, Friday-Saturday, 2010, in North
China's Tianjin, together with our long-standing partners of
American Soybean Association-International Marketing (ASA-IM), US Grains
Council (USGC), and International Fishmeal and Fish oil Organization (IFFO).
This conference will also be served with simultaneous
interpretation by experienced interpreters. |
| We are now experiencing the pain of economic transformation in major economic
entities--economic transformation and industry structure adjustment in China,
industry return and trade boom in the US, and economic resource integration
and welfare cut in European Union. This has already triggered the spiral
in world financial market and brought instability in world economic recovery,
causing fluctuation in commodity market and increasing uncertainty in price
projection for agricultural commodities. In the meantime, the advanced mechanism
reform on RMB exchange has widened the diverge on expectation over future
market and generated much influence on the trend forecast over China's main
feed raw material imports in this autumn and next spring. |
| This year might be the year for China's grain supply and demand to step
into a key turning point. With main agricultural product price having entered
the new stage of above RMB1/jin (1 jin = half a kilogram), China's government
macro-control will be reinforced unprecedentedly, which may distort the
price mechanism and then exert dramatic effect on China's feed and farming
industry. Under such background, JCI is to hold our 6th JCI Autumn Conference
on Chinese Feed Raw Materials Market in another coastal city of Tianjin,
with an aim to discuss, together with you, the supply and demand status
under the new situation, price trend and policy direction so as to better
project the price movement to avoid and hedge risks. |
